Emily Carrington was born in New Brunswick and grew up in Prince Edward Island and has spent most of her time living in rural areas. She now lives and works on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. Emily drew a lot as a child but it wasn’t until she took courses in making comics at Langara College in Vancouver that she was able to write her first graphic novel. In 2022, Emily’s critically acclaimed debut graphic memoir was published by Drawn and Quarterly. When she’s not writing and drawing her books she likes to garden and work on building projects around her house.
